About the event

Join the Lafayette Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution and Granger Historical Society on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 1:00 PM for a Patriot Grave Marking Ceremony honoring Revolutionary War soldiers, Private Seth Goodwin, and Private Samuel McCloud. The ceremony will take place at Reid Hill Cemetery, located on the west side of State Road (CR-44) at the intersection of Reid Hill Road in Granger Township, Ohio.


Parking at Reid Hill Cemetery is limited, with a small number of designated areas to park. Guests are encouraged to carpool when possible. Additional parking is available at Granger United Methodist Church, 1235 Granger Road, approximately 2 miles (about a 5-minute drive) from the cemetery. A limited shuttle service will be available from the church to the cemetery, and attendees planning to use the shuttle are encouraged to arrive early.


Following the event, refreshments will be served at Granger United Methodist Church.


In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at Granger United Methodist Church.
