Art Show

Attention Artists!  In conjunction with Granger’s tree lighting which is scheduled for Sunday, November 26, 3:00-5:00, we would like to have an art show!  The display would decorate the new addition to Granger Historical Society’s library building, behind the museum, 1261 Granger Road.  The art show’s theme will be Granger in Winter.   It can be historic Granger or modern-day.  Any media is fine.  Artists need not live in Granger, but the art work must depict Granger. Entering artists can be high-school aged or older.  We’ll open the historical society on November 4, 10 AM to noon for artists who may want to see historic photos or objects, including our newly-restored sleigh, in order to work such items into  their art.  Art should be dropped off at the historical society on November 18, 11:00-noon.  If that time is not convenient, we can make special arrangements for you, but all items need to be in by Wednesday, November 22.  Art pieces may be sold by the artist, picked up by the artist after a Christmas open house on December 10, or donated to the historical society for future use.  We’ll even have a people’s choice competition!
